New State Policies

In early September Governor Brewer received a budget proposal from the Legislature, including House Bill 2011, which negatively amends school employment law.  She vetoed several cuts to school funding, but couldn’t line-item veto the policy changes – which will become law as of November 24, 2009.  Click here to read more about these attacks on school employees and what you can do.  For more information go to AEA's home page (www.arizonaea.org).
